Saving this pregnant cat is the only smart thing to do in this situation. I didn't even know that tortie's were almost all female. I found out recently that orange cats are almost all male and it sort of shattered me. I'm a gingy myself, and I always thought that I'd get a gingy female cat and we'd be like little twins. She'd be my mini me, but then I learned that they're usually male. It's okay and I can still get a female one, but it shattered my notion of this breed and it's not easy to experience that.
